PIF~ pass it forward on etsy

Have you heard of PIF on etsy?! oh, what a precious idea!!

Sellers on etsy, list an item as PIF, real ones are totally free~ and then you put a PIF listing in your store or do an Act of Kindness for Someone...love this!!

the day after~

wow! was I ever spoiled on my birthday!! Thank you so much everyone who sent me gifts, cards, ecards & emails...what beautiful friends & family I am have...THANK YOU!! you made my day very special!! ;)

We had a lovely day & I finally went to see Johnny Depp's movie...Sweeney Todd...hmmm it was quite bloody, I think the blood was too paint red, needed to be more crimson to be believable, don't you think?! but Johnny can sing!! he looked beautiful all gothic & half dead ;)

here are a few of the things I received for my bday, boxes full of tea, candles, jewelry handmade by my beautiful sister & chocolates...didn't want to show you the checks & gift cards! ;)

even my baby was mesmerized by all the colorful gifts ;)

birthdays~

well...today is the big day...my birthday is here again, gosh a year goes by too fast!!

After receiving a message, first thing this morning "Happy Birthday, you're one step closer to death" I went upstairs closed the shutters & went back to bed! that lovely birthday wish didn't start my day off too lovely~ Oh well....slept a bit & on with my day...my quest for the day & like all my other birthdays is searching for the perfect hyacinths!! I love to fill the kitchen with them.... then off to dinner & a movie...I think I shall eat 2 cakes tonight!! xo! p.s. I'm not 65... referring to the photo of the cake top, if you happened to notice ;)

one world~ one heart giveaway event!!

Today is the day!! The blog giveaway event!! Lisa Oceandreamer~ started this wonderful event~

What IS ONE World-ONE Heart?

It is a blog-wide giveaway event. The original idea behind this was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way. Last years event had nearly 100 participants and many connections were made because of it......friendships that are still going strong.

This year I will be giving away an altered/collage box 3.5 X 4.5 with 2 aceo art card prints, inside the box will be some yummy tea~ I will announce the winner on Valentine’s day!!
